Hisako and Kathleen up at the crack of dawn painting on their terrace together before I arrive.
Sallie Harker our wonderful host at her beautiful Gallery. Fig Tree Art Studio. Sallie welcomed us all to paint in ther beautiful rain forest garden.
Much concentration and some very beautiful paintings. Then it felt like no sooner we had arrived than we left. I really enjoyed painting there.
Kathleen off inthe distance and Shahim spent some time with us, he was painting the buildings whilst we were painting paper.
Back at the house Lucy served us, delicious spicy wraps , with smoked paprika roasted lentils and beetroot salad, green salad and fresh Island fruit. After thoroughly enjoying our lunch we put ourselves to painting hibiscus flowers.
With some beautiful results.
After which we went for a swim, then sundowner at the Suger Ridge Resort who kindly welcomed us to their cocktail evening and Steel Band playing with great smiles and generosity. Rum punch, fruit punch, and delcious tuna nibbles. Then home to Lucy’s dinner which was divine. Perfectly cooked rack of lamb with salsa verdi, mashed sweet potatoe and stir fry mangetous and red peppers. Very very yummy. Apple and rhubarb crumble and straight home to bed!
I can’t believe I’m not there with you. I can feel the paint brush in my hand while I look at your hibiscus paintings.
