I am at my sister Sarah’s house in Wiltshire, the autumn weather is sublime, the colour of the November trees in Sarah and Marks garden are cheerfully glowing and chatting before the cold of winter when they will leave the trees bare to face the chill and frost on their own. But just for now the smoke trees (flame) are so jolly and bright.
They are glorious I wish you could see them too. I was sitting in the dining room working and was captivated by the image in the mirror, the reflection of the garden and dining room window in the looking glass, so pretty so perfect.
Although it was quite cold today the sun was shining so a little painting was in order.
I found it very hard to capture the absolute luminescence of the smoke tree but I enjoyed painting it.
I have been remiss, I have not been working on my marketing and promoting my painting trips, I seem to find that quite difficult. It always seems so much easier to pick up a paint brush!!
Lovely painting! i assume you are not back for class tomorrow? hope your brother-in -law is recovering. Hope to see you soon |love Anne > Message du 02/11/16 22:48 > De : “Tessa’s Painting Trips in Provence” > A : trevor.zutshi@orange.fr > Copie à : > Objet : [New post] Through the looking glass > >WordPress.com
