I am not sure yet how to get the photo’s in the order that I would like, so here are some randomly placed photo’s of this early morning. I woke early almost before sunrise, just the faint glimmer of pinks mingling with the vestiges of the night sky, only a few birds were singing and silence was all around. 5 am I thought was too early to get up, but as the sun started to play pretty warm orange patterns soft on our wall, I decided, why not get up! By the time I was out side the sun was shining full on the wild flowers I have planted, and our friend Hisako helped to water. Whisk these photo’s of the meadow are for you. The a walk with the dogs into the day with the sun bursting through the bright morning vines almost tingling with delight as they welcome the heat. Then I thought I would check on the artichokes, glorious as they are in a slightly monstrous way. They have manifested huge long arms reaching high towards the sky and bright purple hats glow with powerful intent. They have been keeping up the good work for a few weeks now. I have painted 10 artichoke paintings so far and hope to paint quite a few more. So heres to wishing you all as well as the nurturing nature that surrounds me.
