February and March 2017, Gratitude.

The seed was planted in 2016 by good friend Sarah Sebastion to take Paint Provence to Antigua in 2017. I thought it would not be possible, but with a huge amount of help from Lucy Munger and lots of help from Sarah Sebastion, the dream was realised and I took Paint Provence with Tess to Antigua.

So grateful to all the amazing students on my trip, wonderful returnees who have become close and dear friends. The great opportunity to paint at Sally Harker’s Fig Tree Gallery in the rainforest, Sally is a wonderful artist herself and has kindly proposed that I can put some of my work in her Gallery to sell, so I better get some paintings done ready for out return this year.

We were surrounded by beauty and had so many beautiful choices of places to paint.

I was so so happy to be there. I saw friends from my yacthing days whom I had not seen for decades, I felt filled with love and gratitude and happiness, and my friends/students produced the most wonderful peices of work. I still have to get some of them up on my Gallery Page.

A huge blessing was to be able to help Lucy Munger with the Sunshine Girls a shelter for homeless abused girls, we arranged a painting day. I loved them all and wished I could bring them all home with me and look after them. Maybe we can have another painting day this year.

We held morning classes on Pigeon Beach, which I am hoping I can restart this year for the locals, it was such fun, and we spent a fabulous morning with Gilly Gobinnot in her art studio, who inspired us with her take on Antigua.

I am so excited to be going back this March, we have two trips in an amazing villa, we only have three places left to fill, so if you care to come on a luxury holiday in a luxury, with some very wonderful people please do get in touch through my site. Paint Provence with Tess

My happiness at being in Antigua for February and March of last year absolutley made me want to take Paint Provence to different places and do different things with it. This year.  My April trip for Provence is already booked up, but there is still the Camargue, 3 places on the Palma trip and 2 places left on the Venice trip. This is going to be a great year!
