I am so excited that I am taking Paint Provence to Antigua, I leave on Monday and there are a thousand and one things to do before I go. I wanted to write before I leave, it is so magical here at the moment.
It is February 17th the skies are blue, the blossom, mimosa, japonica, daffodils, bluebelles and marigolds are all out. I have just been sitting in the sun wishing I had time to paint it all before I leave for our paint provence trip in Antigua. Who knows if I get on with things I may just paint tomorrow. Oh just found this photo of Lac St Croix in May such cool beauty.
I have two places left on the April trip and my May trip is waiting to be filled. May 20th-27th. It is just such a beautiful time of year to paint. The evenings are still cool, the pool is a perfect temperature and the days are warm and balmy. The fields are filled with poppies and the vines are a perfect spring green.
You can just see the baby grapes growing in the shade of those gentle and beautiful leaves.
Painting in the poppies is a must!
And a visit to Kristi Espinasse when we can.
Hisako, Kristi and Gilly after a picnic lunch and a wine tasting plus the extra pleasure of spending time with Kristi’s mum Jules.
The lavender just before it grows its flowers is as far as I am concerned equally beautiful when it shimmers green in the passing sun.
We hope to see you here soon.
And then lavender early July. Come along and paint with me.
