Some rainy days

Judy and went for a potter around the market yesterday and old town Lorgues. The very oldest part of the town dates back to the 11th Century. We enjoyed the hustle and bustle of the market and then went up a quiet side street. In the back streets you could almost have heard a pin drop. Luckily the morning was quite sunny and we went to the studio to paint in the afternoon. Feeling bad that my students on this trip had not seen much because of the weather I decided to take us all to the Abbaye de Thoronet. Rain or no rain.

It was so peaceful and so beautiful we were glad we went. I took Judy to Paradise for a walk and the sun decided to shine.

And then we came home to paint the roses.

We went to St Tropez today, very quiet and very lovely, all the big boats were out for the day and the weather was perfect. What joy. Come along and paint provence with me!
